Welcome to Seachange Fitness
By using the facilities at Seachange, either as a member or PAYG (pay as you go) you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions.
1. All Fitness (fitness gym and / or classes) users are required to register through the Virtuagym portal before using the facilities. This is for members and PAYG.
2. Payment for memberships or one-off sessions can be processed through the Virtuagym portal or via Seachange reception
3. Our general memberships are offered as a rolling contract from date of joining. We offer flexibility to pause your membership for extended absences i.e. surgery, long term illness or extended absence (more than a month) please contact reception to arrange this.
4. Seachange will be offering a NON- rolling contract membership (i.e. for a month at a time) - this will be set at a higher price.
5. Members are able to take part in activities covered in their membership anything not covered should be paid for prior to use.
6. Please can all members check in and out at the scan station at Seachange reception or via reception prior to using the facilities.
7. All exercise classes, gym sessions equipment and facilities are offered subject to availability at advertised times. Seachange reserves the right to withdraw services at any time in connection with maintenance, staff absence or where there is a perceived health and safety issue. Seachange will endeavour to provide as much notice as possible.
8. All equipment and facilities should be used in a proper and safe manner with regard for your own health and safety and that of others. If anyone is unsure of correct usage of equipment or facilities please ask a member of Seachange staff.
9. If anyone has any medical concerns / injuries contraindicative to exercise please inform the instructor prior to exercise.
10. All members / PAYG should wear clothing and footwear (closed toes) suitable for exercise. Water is available throughout Seachange but please use water bottles.
11. There are maximum numbers for our exercise classes due to room capacity, and we operate a waiting list . If you are unable to attend a class please remove yourself from the class using the portal or contact Seachange reception. Repeated no shows will result in the inability to book classes for a period of time.
12. Classes are able to be booked upto 10 days n advance with payment only for non-members. A minimum of 24 hrs notice of cancellation for all users applies (unless in extreme circumstances).
13. Seachange reserves the right to terminate contracts or refuse admission if members / PAYG behaviour; conduct; dress or use of equipment is deemed in breach of this agreement by Seachange staff.
14. The Data Protection Act (2018) sets out certain requirements for the protection of the unauthorised use or disclosure of personal data about individuals. Seachange uses data for the purpose of which it was intended only further details can be found on the Seachange privacy notice.
